Little TSM and I settled in to watch the Marlies game on TV tonight. He took one look and said to me (remember he is 6), “Where is everyone? It’s empty in there!”
They may have announced over 2200 people. There is no way there was more then 1000!
Come on folks, you can do it. By folks i don’t mean we the fans. I mean you who operate the franchise. Give us a reason to care, to come out….We will, I promise you.

Wow, didnt think they could possibly get less people they did on sunday! someone on the marketing team should really be fired…
I was at the game tonight and i would say 800 is accurate. there were maybe six suites in use, and i think most of them had MLSE employees and marlies scratches in them. still though, smaller crowds mean better odds at catching t-shirts.
When will people learn….Toronto is not a Hockey town, it is an EVENT town…The LEAFS are corporate and are an event. If regular fans were allowed into the Leaf games it would be packed, but people will not support professional minor league or Jr. A hockey, it is not an event.
I agree with Al, the Toronto FC mania will also drop off within a few years
