Thanks for the note. I think Nelson should really take a look at the show.

You're hardly going out on a limb here. Ever since they moved Stellick onto the morning show Landry started bringing a lot more "schtick" to the show (e.g. "vito from woodbridge", "mike and mike", "Ken Dryden"). I switched over to the Edge morning show long ago.

It's honestly the most un-listenable thing ever produced on radio. Whenever I accidentally tune it in, I want to rip off my ears. The only thing worth listening to were Smitch's weekly interviews. Now that he is gone, there is no reason to ever listen to this show.

I always loved Gord and Damien when they hosted the early afternoon (Big Show) slot back in the early days of the FAN. For some reason Gord seems to bring out the lighthearted side of Damien and their banter is much more enjoyable than that of Landry. I like Landry but I would love Cox and Stellick in the morning.

You know what would also be cool? 640 stealing Gord away to work with Brady and go up against McCown.

Agree that the Fan morning show desperately needs a shake-up. It's what I wake up to every morning and I used to keep it on for the insider and other reports but the guests have become stale and I'm really tired of all the bad jokes.

But I couldn't disagree more about Damien. The more he talks, the more I realize just how limited and shallow his knowledge is. His attempt at banter with Mike Epel this morning was just painful. Cox also said some hockey stuff that was just plain wrong...
