Just heard what I think is the dumbest call ever on PTS. A guy was upset that Wilner said that “TFC sucks and no-one cares about the Argos,” and this caller was bothered that a Rogers employee was criticizing a product (TFC) that the company would soon own.
Aside from the foolishness of trying to get one radio-host to criticize another, I was surprised that McCown didn’t ask the guy if he really believes that Rogers employees (and those at 590) should not be allowed to criticize Rogers-owned teams? Good grief, the guy was upset because he didn’t hear sunshine and lollipops about the company-owned teams. I kept expecting Bob to ask him: “are you for real?”
I laughed when I read your comment. I had PTS on in the background while at my computer and came to attention when I heard the absurdity of that caller.

That does win the dopey call of the month. How can anyone get upset about someone saying TFC sucks? They suck longer and harder than almost any team other than the Leafs. And if not fo their history the Argos would be long gone. Not saying I would be happy about that, but win or lose the CFL in Toronto is dead. Before anyone freaks on me, please just look at the attendance figures. I had season tickets in 1982 and remember 50,000 people packing the Ex. You can barely get that for a Grey Cup now in T.O.
