   For the last ten months 590 has aired a one hour hockey show at noon on weekdays…………….yesterday they switched to a baseball show for the summer……………..today a huge hockey story (Suter/Parise sign with Minnesota) breaks right in the middle of that hour…………….does anyone else find that somewhat amusing ??

   Euro Cup final week tv ratings should be out soon…here are the June 18th to 24th tv ratings…numbers are exceptional with England vs Italy peaking at a staggering 3.6 million viewers during the penalty kicks. Game 6 of the Stanley Cup final attracted 3.1 million. As mentioned before if TSN was available to basic cable subscribers the ratings would be even higher for Euro Cup 2012.

   In Canada, TSN reported a record Euro audience of 2.058 million for the Italy England quarter-final match, which peaked at 3.06 million during the penalty kicks. The Italy-England quarter-final match from Euro 2012 is the most watched European Cup match in Canadian television history.
