Did anyone just hear the last few minutes of the opening segment on Baseball Central @ Noon? They flat out encouraged/suggested that Jose should consider blood doping to speed up his recovery from the injury sustained last night. WTF.
Bllod doping is a totally different animal. They were talking more stem cell injections etc…to heal specific areas that are injured.
Blood doping is adding red blood cells to increase endurance.

Soooooo TSM is pulling a (fan?590) for July and just mailing it in ??
Mike Richards has not been on TSN/1050 now for 7 days..
YET tsm lists him EVERYDAY as host!!!
Oh ya questions of the weekend lasted 1 week??
Assume 46 replies was not enough????????
@Nan – thanks for the list – what a bunch of faces for radio!
cool find Nan – nice to see sports media news. it’s worth noting that several hosts on that list are from Boston’s 2nd all-sports radio station. This should be the model for TSN: don’t worry about the broken ratings battle; worry about producing quality radio programs.
Thanks for the link Nan.
Jim Rome @ #2??? At least Colin Cowherd didn’t make the top 10.
I also noticed an east coast bias for the top portion of the list. Is sports radio that much better/significant in the eastern time zone vs. the rest of the US?
Between being large metro areas, the general stereotype is that fans are more fervent in the Northeast US, so it would make sense that the sports radio stations there (WFAN, WEEI, WIP, WTEM) would be stronger than in, say, Denver or Minneapolis or St Louis.
Not to say that sports talk in LA and Chicago are not, but I’ve never heard the talent or stations get the attention nationally that they do in NYC Boston or Philly.
