Toronto Sports Media Pressbox
As promised, today we taped the first episode of the TSM Pressbox. Today’s guests were Jim Lang from Sportsnet and Greg Brady from the 640 Toronto’s The Bill Watters Show. Pardon the rookie in me, I hope to only get better. Huge thanks to both Jim and Greg and all the folks at The College of Sports Media.

Hey Jonah………I remember hearing about the Sundin-Wendel trade on PTS too……….it was a Tuesday night and the draft was in Hartford………..McCown was doing his show when Happy Howie came on with the news of the trade…………it’s hard to believe that was almost 16 years ago
And there I was in a tiny apt listening to that show. Good news Mike is we both have equally bad memories it would appear. The Sundin for Clark deal was in 1994. Mccown was doing the morning show at the time. Dan Shulman was doing PTS in 1994 and I am pretty sure that unless Mccown was covering the draft- the trade broke during PTS so it was Shulman and not Mccown. I do, I will admit miss Shaky Hunt. Yes he was older but he was fun to listen to.
