Always awesome to hear the Legendary Former World Series Winning Blue Jays GM Pat Gillick… He and PTS are a awesome fit… you can tell he and Bobcat are buddies and it makes for good radio… Brunt and McCown talking baseball with Gillick awesome……

I love how different Rosenthal and Morosi are when it comes to the Jays. Morosi always seems super optimistic while Rosenthal was more like Mike Wilner today. Brunt seems to be REALLY pushing his idea that the Jays should go for it this year. He’s been pushing for this since the winter with Darvish and Prince, and he’s been saying how it’s different and the Jays will spend money this year even though so far it hasn’t really happened, but he keeps thinking they will and saying they should.
Brunt and Grange seem to be leading the charge of “this is the time, the Jays better spend money or maybe Rogers just has no interest in spending money and the fans are going to revolts.”
I wonder if, because he works for ESPN, Jonah Keri can’t appear on 590 anymore.
Last season, he was often kind of regularly at least with Blair (who he worked under in Montreal).
Is it just me or was the opening of PTS with Tim and Sid discussing the mat leave just uncomfortable.

Especially when Tim said to Bob, “Bob McGown is talking to ME about taking time off” or something pretty close to that.
Tim was referencing ALL THE TIME that Bob takes off.
There was about 2 seconds of awkward silence.

Interesting! I actually much prefer Tim & Sid as a combo than what I’ve heard from them solo.
