Pardon the foul language and the post that has nothing to do with sports, but this is truly awesome.
Check out what this Canadian member of parliament put on twitter tonight:
Pat Martin wasn’t done yet…..
Classic!

One nice thing about having a party without a current and/or strong leader is that people like Pat Martin will feel at ease to speak quite vocally and forcefully. I suspect there’s no-one in the party at the moment who would be able to make him tone it down. It can be quite entertaining, if somewhat undiplomatic.
Mr. Martin has blurted out some other gems recently as well.
Just last month, Martin suggested in the House of Commons that the dismantling of the Canadian Wheat Board’s single-desk was akin to the Canadian beaver “biting off his own testicles.”
In June, he told Parliament during a debate on Canada Post that “every kid on the street (in Winnipeg) has a bolt cutter so he can steal bikes.”
And last year, he likened a new Youth for Christ centre being built in Winnipeg’s core area to a fundamentalist recruitment camp.
This guy makes me think of the days of Harold Ballard and his public moronic rants. Not sure if he is auditioning to replace Don Cherry.
Martin is a sad angry man. I wonder why he is so unhappy.
It’s not a mystery, Roger – he’s in the opposition. All people in opposition tend to be angry: the Liberals were really angry in the 1980s, the Tories/Reformers were angry in the mid-1990s-2000s, and the BQ and NDP are permanently angry/outraged.
As for the sad part – well, we all say that about people with whom we don’t agree. That’s a partisan comment.
Uh Roger never said he didn’t agree with him politically Steve, only you have brought your views into it.
I think politics can be shelved and we can safely say he is a sad angry man.
This is objectively based on the comments he has made, which anyone with dignity and respect for the position of MP would find insane – both sad and angry.
Class Act!
