Shmeck takes everyone along for a ride,and strangely his sources never seem to have the goods.I don’t know how many times I’ve seen his garbage fact checked down the toilet.A 3rd grader could post his fair tales

Thanks for the notes all. Toskla, here is the quote from me on ek (whom I know refer to as Hanky):

I am by no means defending Eklund, but you went into talking about McCabe and the NHLPA with no transition from Eklund to it… it was kinda confusing as all Ek said about McCabe was that “McCabe deal is close (e3)”. Anyhoo, the rest of the article was awesome, keep it up!

Thank-you for breaking down the walls of credibility on daBuzz. Every time I even consider looking at that site now I will remember Mr. Hanky to help keep reality in check.

I had a feeling Eklund was talking out of his arse on most of his ‘imminent’ rumours/trades/signings. Heck, he’s even enrolled his dog into helping his predictions so I mean that kind of says it all doesn’t it.

I will say though that I think Alec Brownscombe seems to be a decent Leafs writer with very few of these outlandish rumours, so perhaps Eklund’s taint hasn’t reached all of his bloggers…
