Mikhail Grabovski Is Back
The Buds have signed Mikhail Grabovski. It’s a three year deal and 2.9m cap hit. I like the player, I don’t love the number.

I think this is a ridiculous contract…………….they already gave up a 2nd round pick to get this guy and now they have to pay him almost $3 million after he has one decent half of a season?…………all of a sudden the contract that my Bruins gave Krejci doesn’t look so bad
Terrible salary for this guy. I had him pegged at $1.25M -$1.75M max….Before getting too angry, my gutt says he earns it and stays on the big club as a #2 centre or, he ends up as a very expensive Marlie in 2011 and not impact the cap – unless he can’t be moved (please say that isn’t so).
One good year and he’d either hold out for a raise or threaten going to the Russian league.They had to overpay to circumvent that scenario.If he’s breathing,he’ll get points strictly by the quality ice time and PP minutes he’ll get
For Leafs / Habs games, I’d like to see Grabs line up with Orr on one wing and move Komisarek up to the other wing.
