Is Ogie Oglethorpe Next On Brian Burke’s List?
The good folks over at Crash the Crease are reporting that Toronto Maple Leaf GM Brian Burke may have landed one of the highly touted US college free agents. This time the signing is of Christian Hanson. Yes, Hanson, as in they brought their fucking toy’s Hanson. Can you imagine if the son of one of the Hanson’s actually makes to the NHL???? Here are the relevant numbers on Hanson:

Signing US college players is certainly an easy way to restock some bare cupboards. Will all be stars? Of course not. It would be nice to have some depth in the your cores though.
