Agree with Eggbert. Your dislike of him comes across as a little intense. I’m not even really sure why you’re criticizing this article. He’s basically saying ‘lets be respectful and I hope the media does not make a circus over the fact that Brian Burke’s son is gay’. I’m not really sure why that sentiment makes him ‘out to lunch’. Seems fairly decent to me.

I’m new to these parts, so apologies if this has been mentioned before, but is anyone else curious why Berger uses a reguliar speech pattern when he’s in conversation with a host, but speaks v-e-r-y deliberately when he’s filing a report on tape? very odd
