A Legend Passes….

When Ben Johnson got busted, I was waiting to be picked up for a school event. I remember listening to the story on the radio as it broke, and it seemed to happen as slow as one of the million instant replay’s of his amazing run. The run and the aftermath where clearly 2 moments in my life I will remember for a very long time. Today, or earlier this morning to be specific, the judge who presided over the hearings into the Johnson doping scandal died. Charles Dubin was 87. He was obviously very well respected inorder to get the job of hearing the case no one wanted to know the truth about. Clearly a credit to his profession and a legendary name in the world of professional and amateur sport here in Canada.
