McKenzie says Leafs and Burke are talking

No offer made yet, however the talks are talking parameters of the deal. How funny would it be if this all went down without a hitch. I mean you just know the talking heads are waiting to pounce on the first sniff of a snag…

Meanwhile here in LA it is HOT, about 90 degrees F and I hear it isn’t that nice back in Toronto.

Well, if it’s 90 degrees Fahrenheit where you are, I think everywhere else isn’t all that nice in comparison. 😉

it’s because LA is on fire…seriously.

Also, bring on the Burke. The sooner this is over, the sooner we can begin. If that makes any sense…

Other than Roger Neilson, how many Leaf gm’s or coaches have had success(or been hired in the same capacity) by other teams in the last 38 years?

This is make or break for Burke

Ya think…He won the cup already. Once again the question is what is the measure of success? If he gets a 5 year deal then its different then if it is a 3 year deal right?
