According to the National post Blue Jays GM is looking to add to oft inured players to his roster, Carl Pavano and Rafael Furcal.
“Pavano made just 26 starts over four injury-plagued years with the Yankees. The 32-year-old went 4-2 with a 5.77 ERA in seven starts with New York after he returned from Tommy John surgery at the end of the 2008 season.”
“Furcal missed most of last season because of back surgery, though he did hit .357 with five home runs and eight steals in 36 games with the Dodgers.
The career .286 hitter stole at least 22 bases in each of his first eight seasons, with a high of 46 for Atlanta in 2005.”
The excitement is overwhelming.. At least there is Jays news to talk about as it relates to on field matters.
