I agree………….PTS is so much better when Brunt is on…………. it’s not even close………..since Kelley was on last week I’m not sure why he was on today……………must be because Brunt is in Vancouver writing pre-Olympic stories for the Globe.
I can’t help but notice how much more McCown is worked up about the Raptors than the Leafs, and not just the “they suck, the fans are idiots” schtick but actually breaking down mistakes in the game.
Funny thing is he hasn’t said he was wrong about Bargnani whom he labeled as a bust and a stiff all last season and a good chunk of this one.
He is like the Fonz, can’t say the W word (wrong). It is actually a breath of fresh air for someone to be breaking down the raps like he has. At least someone is. I really can’t believe how bad this team is. They also appear to be rudderless. Why do I feel more hopeful with the Leafs then I do the Raptors?
It’s seems odd to say but the Leafs might be the Toronto professional sports team who has the best chance of winning a championship in the next 5-7 years. Or at least becoming a viable contender.
