Rumblings are that Burke met with the player today and that progress was made towards inking him to a deal with the Leafs. The Leafs appear to be way ahead in their pursuit of the Monster, but things could go south. Time will tell, but I am told it shouldn’t be much longer for a decision on which team he is going to play for next year- 24-48 hours.
