TSM Take:
I imagine they guys running the show are trying to get the new Hockey Hall Of Fame class so this is all up in the air. I think you will hear more on Tampa tonight and as always I am very eager to hear about rumours in both the NBA and the NHL as draft night approaches.
Brady carrying the day. Good interviews with Mike Richter and Luc Robitaille. Real strong. Wilbur would have bitched about Robitaille getting in ahead of Gilmour. Yawn.
As for Rumack, that’s too bad. Hate to see anyone lose their gig, but the $$ and ratings probably didn’t match up anymore. Doesn’t make sense to have local programming so late at night anymore. Before the internet, it might have. Too many other entertainment options for sports fans.
