Here are the lineups for the shows today:
On Hockey Central at Noon:
FA TALK ALL DAY ON THE FAN
Howie in studio from 10-12
On Leafs Lunch:
FA TALK ALL AFTERNOON
College of Sports Media Game of the Night:
It’s Canada Day today and everybody knows what that means right? Well if you’re in the city of Toronto it means canceled celebrations and the smell of garbage, but everywhere else it’s the opening day of the CFL. In Calgary the Stampeders will get a chance to exact some revenge over the Grey Cup loss as they host the Montreal Alouettes. In Hamilton it’s the battle of rookie coaches as Bart Andrus and the Toronto Argonauts make the trip down the QEW to take on Marcel Bellefeuille and his Tiger-Cats.
Oh, and it’s the first day NHL teams can shop for free agents….
More all day long
TSM
The Fan does have a Jays game and an Argos game on the air today, with McCown in between. So probably not really FA talk all day.
Hard to believe McCown would lower himself to come in on a holiday, knowing the Jays game won’t start on time.
Hellooooo Rob Faulds. 🙁
I believe McCown said yesterday that he is working today, which is a bit of a surprise…………he used to work on holidays all the time but lately he has usually taken them off
Am noticing McKenzie and Dreger lambasting (subtly) Sportsnet for suggesting Kaberle-to-Boston talks are back on. They say definitively, they are not. Love when the TV networks start the sniping. Kinda like when it happens in radio! I know it’s so offensive to some of you. (Eyes rolling)
Sportsnet has a history of reporting things that are not factually correct, ie the Heatley trade done as well as Nashville trading for Poni over the trade deadline, so i can understand wanting to correct the masses. I do not really care either way, i do not know what anyone would?
And I amm not a Brady fan at all, but being my only option today, he did not do to bad all told. Duff added a little bit of seriousness. Fairly decent listen.
