Say one thing about Bryan Colangelo, he doesn’t rest on his laurels. Word around the NBA at this hour is that the Raptors are about to pull off a trade. Yes! Another trade! Word is that Carlos Delfino and Roko Ukic are headed to Milwaukee for a Big MAN in a two-for-two deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. Who is coming back the other way? Amir Johnson. This would be a sign a trade move as Delfino would first have to agree to a new contract that would last at least two years.
Johnson who is 22, was first drafted by the Detroit Pistons #56 in 2005. He was a one of the last high-schoolers to be drafted right into the NBA. This will be the last year on a 3 year contract extension which was originally signed in 2007. He is due to earn $3.9m this season. He started 24 games last season and averaged 3.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 14.7 minutes per game.
