Is She a She Or A He?

The age old androgynous question. Can’t say that it is common in sports, or, maybe it is. Not sure if you have see the story of South African sprinter Caster Semenya, but word is that the new owner of the world’s fastest time at a junior track meet may not be exactly what the world thought it was. Caster (who claims to be a she) will undergo “complex gender testing”.

Dare I say, man what a bummer that must be.

Yahoo sports columnist Chris Chase has a good piece on the potential trans gender sprinter here.

I feel bad for her because she probably has been mocked all her life. At least she can be finally do something that she can be proud of. Besides, why are they questioning her gender now after she won. If there was a problem, they should have checked her out discreetly before the race instead of embarrassing her after she won.
