I think McCown & Brunt are exaggerating when they say that Bettman “stormed out of the studio”
I believe they are making reference to an interview from two years ago when they confronted Bettman about how much revenue the 6 Canadian franchises contribute to the league…………….Bettman definitely got a bit miffed and agitated but as far as I know he did not storm out of the studio
was that his infamous ‘last appearance’ on the show? Any idea how I could track it down?

Love the ’82 clip….amazing how far technology has come…a camera panning a cut-out / static scoreboard…amazing. Love the Argo coverage….I saw the names on the back of the jerseys as they talked about how bad the team was but the names were all stars. ’82 was the turnaround year…and they won the cup in ’83….I miss the old CFL days….

I remember the Rickey Henderson one! Amazing!
That’s when I started listening to Bob – right about 92/93.
Trac-II: a nice capitalist tool.
I forgot how much advertisers used to be able to get away with. Try doing a Gillette ad now about Kim Jong Il. Not. Gonna. Happen.
Love that intro music though. The synthesizer will make a comeback yet!!!
I remember that Ricky ad as well. I still say “weather and traffic??” every so often and people just look at me.
Love the cheezy porno/70’s cop show music for the sportsline intro. Awesome.
Any idea where I can find a clip (audio or video) of the Primetime Sports where Gary Bettman storms out of the studio?
nothing like the porn music for sportsline …

@Eggbert….Can you think of a career that dropped as fast and far down as “Hebsie’s”?
Tatti & Hebscher = Canada’s Beavis & Butthead. 2 guys laughing about jokes no one else got.
