College of Sports Media Game of the Night:
The Toronto Raptors picked up a huge win over the Miami Heat last night at the ACC stretching their winning streak to three. Tonight the team is in the Big Apple to take on the New York Knicks. It’s a big game for Toronto and not because it’s against a division rival, but more because they have not faired well on the back end of back to backs. On top of that the Raptors need to improve on an 8-16 road record. Over the last three games Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani have been a formidable force. Both players are averaging just under 20 points a game and Bosh has been a menace on the boards, averaging just under 13 rebounds a game. The Knicks are coming off a monstrous 132-105 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night. They needed it following a 50-point drubbing at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday afternoon. Tuesday’s win aside the Knicks are struggling this season. Overt their last ten games they’re 4-6 and are eight games below .500.
