College of Sports Media Game of the Night:
It’s the battle of the team versus the player in Boston as the Celtics host the Cleveland Cavaliers in game six of their second round series. The Celtics big three plus Rajon Rondo have been on fire in taking a 3-2 lead in their series. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen combined for 61 points while Rondo continued rolling – scoring 16 points and dishing seven assists. More importantly Boston has done an incredible job shutting down, arguably, the best player in the game, LeBron James. James didn’t score his first bucket until the second half and finished with a disappointing 15 points. You have to believe something is seriously wrong with the elbow. Cleveland was the best team in the league in the regular season, but if you’ve watched any of the NHL postseason, regular season stats don’t matter in the playoffs. If the Cavs can’t pull it together tonight, it may be the last time King James is seen wearing a Cleveland jersey.
