College of Sports Media Game of the Night:
In the opening game of the Eastern Conference finals, Philadelphia ran ruck shot over Montreal en route to a 6-0 beat down. Goaltender Jaroslav Halak gave up four goals on only 14 Philadelphia shots and got yanked for the third time this postseason. In round one Halak game up three goals on 13 shots in a 5-1 Washington win. In the opening game against Pittsburgh, the Slovak, gave up five goals on 20 shots. In both cases Halak came back strong, facing 35 plus shots while only allowing one goal. The Habs will need a similar bounce-back effort tonight or they’ll find themselves in unfamiliar territory, down 2-0 in a series.
Another big game tonight and the Canadians fell again, I see a sweep in the future. Halak is playing like his old self, but we all saw that coming, Price should come back again for game 3.
