Raptors Trade With Espn

Well, this is one you can put in the books. No salary cap issues. No trade exceptions, no meddling owners/coaches. Espn has giveth and has taken away. In what appears to be a trade of on air talent, Raptors tv has a new host in David Amber who comes from ESPN where Adnan Virk has flown the coop for.

Amber, I am told isn’t just coming back to Toronto for this gig was on tv here before and he takes over the Raptors tv desk for the coming season.

So Raps fans, what say you? Is this a good swap ???

Stay tuned for more on Amber as it develops.

Hat tip to Zelkovich for breaking this one.

I don’t watch ESPN, as Rogers does not carry it, thank you CRTC, but remember Amber from his TSN days, but do not recollect too much about him. I am sure that with his ESPN grooming he will be more than adequate.

To think we had to put up with the insufferable Paul Jones and then had Virk for one year and now Amber, at least MLSE realizes it has to use actual talent on air rather than a clown.

I meant Paul Johnson. He is so easy to forget, including his name.

Besides, there are so many Jones around it is easy to make a mistake.
