Game of the Night

New York Yankees (93-64, 1st AL East) vs Toronto Blue Jays (81-75, 4th AL East) @ Rogers Centre on Sportsnet, 7:07 PM ET

Reason to watch: The Yankees have 20 game winner C.C. Sabathia (20-7, 3.26 ERA) pitching to tie former Jays ace Roy Halladay for the league lead with 21 wins. Sabathia is coming off one of his worst start of the season versus Tampa Bay, he was charged with a season high seven runs and 10 hits over 5 1/3 innings in a 10-3 loss. The Yanks husky starter (listed at 290 lb..) has won three straight and five of his last six starts against Toronto. Sabathia is 4-1 with a 2.73 ERA at Rogers Centre.

The Blue Jays will get another look at Kyle Drabek (0-2, 4.91 ERA). After last night watching the Phillies and Halladay clinch the division, while Halladay picks up his 21st win, in his ninth complete game, Jays fans want a sign from Drabek. The 22 year old in 11 innings has allowed six earned runs, struck out eight walking four, with batters hitting .310 against him. On a positive note, in his one start at home this season batters are .211 against him, where on the road they hit .391.

Of course the most under-appreciated 50+ home run season continues with Jose Bautista currently at 52 HR with 119 RBIs. Quiet the bargain for a guy who makes 2.4 million this year.
