Baltimore Ravens (8-4, 3-3 away) vs Houston Texans (5-7, 3-3 home) @ Reliant Stadium on TSN, 8:30 PM ET
Line: BAL by 3
Reason To Watch: Haloti Ngata is a bad, bad man. Ngata dismantled Ben Roethlisberger’s nose last week in one swipe. While it was nice to see a creep like Ben Roethlisberger get his, there was something really disturbing when commentator Chris Collinsworth gushes about Ravens DL/LB Terrell Suggs.
Now there aren’t many folks who love the NFL as much as I do. But there was something sinister about rooting for Terrell “Clorox” Suggs. A little F.Y.I. on Suggs http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2009-12-08/sports/bal-sp.md.ci.suggs08dec08_1_suggs-fiancee-order-friday-requiring-suggs-suggs-agent some real disgusting stuff. “Clorox” has 66 ½ sacks and needs only 4 ½ sacks to become the Ravens all time leader. Peter Boulware is the current leader at 70.
So tonight, when Jon Gruden is talking about what a beast Suggs is on the football field, you know it doesn’t stop on the field.
Then you have Andre Johnson, one of the true class acts in the NFL, he basically got away with two haymakers on Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan, and the common theory seemed to be that Finnegan shouldn’t have gotten in the way of Johnson’s fists.
In the last three season’s Johnson is averaging 90.6 yards receiving per game since 2006, which is the highest in the NFL.
