I noticed Damien Cox tweeted today that he’s excited about co-hosting with the Bobcat next week. Does this mean he and Brunt are going to be rotating co-hosts in the future?
It sounds like it might be a rotation of Brunt and Cox but it doesn’t look like Shannon is completely out of the picture (unfortunately).
Here is what Dowbiggin wrote on Jan 21 (his accuracy rate is not great so I don’t know if he is right):
“Cox’s arrival likely means a change for Prime Time co-host John Shannon. Shannon said Thursday that he’s been assured by Rogers executives that he will have “a significant role” and does not expect to leave the show or the company. Globe & Mail columnist Stephen Brunt, co-host on PTS, says he’s pleased to have Cox join the show and is working toward a new contract himself with Rogers”
