Is Campbell the worst suit in sports ever? Listening to this guy talk is stunning he’s got a large role in the most powerful league in this nation. How do you even respect this NHL. I am even holding back what I am really thinking of this guy so I don’t sound so harsh. He is so passive aggressive, he answers every questions with questions “What would you do ?” Dude you’re in charge. The position just seems so over his head.

He is a tough one to figure out. Sometimes, I think he is in a no win situation. He does know hockey, his whole life has been the game. But he answers to people who smugly believe they know more about it.

He has held that position far too long. With all the rule changes etc.. over the years, just the same this job needs to have a refresh button hit on it. Needs to be someone with a big personality that stand up for himself, and not be so desperate for the job, that he is afraid to take tough stances. I personally think time for a former player perhaps, maybe Messier.

Add to all this, the whole bias for his son, anti Savard scandal. It just makes the league look so unprofessional. To me he sounds worn out and at wits end as to what to do next.

End of day, I couldn’t imagine having to answer to Bill Daly and Gary Bettman. Would put me in a rubber room.

Every time someone in the media calls Cambell, “Colie”, I lose a million respect points for them.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
