I don’t have much to say on the night shows, but I did catch a bit of Blair on the Avery story today and it actually made me like the guy (Avery) a bit.

Blair did a really good job covering the story this morning. I like it when the announcers actually say what they think and are not trying to impress us (a la Krystal) with the garbage they pick up in their undergrad psychology class. (Of course, it does help when I agree with the announcers, I will admit.)

I’m curious about Arthur’s take on this. I’ll have to look for a podcast – if they have them – since the reception is still horrible.

Hmm, podcasts are being released more slowly in the past few days… hopefully just a blip.

The second I heard Krystal on the first segemnt I switched right away to C&C and glad I did (I really should have C&C as my default for this time spot. I get more out of this show in more consistant level than I do with McCown)

The focus on the Avery story was great. Arthur is now really picking up and being a great all around “issues” type of personality on radio.

This is back to back weeks when an important issues story that C&C has been so much better than PTS. While first thing out C&C is talking about this issue, McCown is talking to freakin Krystal & CFL cost. How about last week, after a huge weekend they were talking with Arthur on location (he was there for the Caps game but something more important happened and he was there!) on their first hour back from the weekend. While McCown in that first hour was talking tennis.

Maybe McCown too distracted about 640 because recently he’s been 640 level of relevent in the recent times compared to what C&C is doing.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
