I do not listen to PTS much anymore, but I did hear the segment when McCown, Cox & Shi (whoever the hell he is! I would love to hear about his baseball background, probably listening to Wilner) were discussing the Jay’s catching situation. Great comedy! It was like listening to Bubba, Billy Bob & Jim Bag, , critique an Opera! The problem is absolutely coaching & J.P. isn’t the only catcher suffering from not blocking balls in the dirt properly . Others are mostly backups. (Probably why they are backups.) There is also a defensive talent problem there. My guess is that J. P. will be playing 1st. In three years because he does have talent as a hitter.
I could fix J.P’s problem fairly quickly if the Jay’s pay me. It would take a lot longer to fix the Toronto Baseball Media Talent , I don’t have the time, I’m too old! I only have seven years of life expectancy left!

Skimmed by TSN last night and they were airing an audio clip of their TV simulcast of the Heat-Celtics game, followed by a few more details from one of their Toronto (radio) studio guys. The bed underneath all of this? The former HNIC theme, which they of course now own.

If you want some credibility, and to try and shake “The Hockey Network” label, here would be a good place to start.

I think Shi Davidi is a solid baseball reporter and I thoroughly enjoy listening to him.

Kind of a week show on both sides. But I will give the nod to PTS today especially for the McCown talking with bald Damo about fired Damo segment.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
