Wow…… looks like the Cybulski show is bringing out the heavy hitters (no pun intended) in their battle against 590……… else can we explain their decision to have Mayor Rob Ford on every week to give his CFL picks?…………..McCown must be quaking in his boots

I wonder if they asked Ford any hard-hitting questions, especially since he is running away from the regular media this week, refusing to answer why he is effectively boycotting all of the Pride events.

I wonder if Brian Burke had anything to say to him about his cowardly actions regarding Pride when he met him recently.

I’m sorry for this, but I think that, since Ford is ducking the real media, then maybe the sports media can take up the slack. After all, he’s turning to the sports media because he expects the softball treatment.

Steve, maybe he just simply doesn`t want to go…tolerance and acceptance is what it is all about…no? Tolerate his decision, accept it and move on.

Kinda looking forward to see if he can pickem myself.

couldn’t agree with you more Steve. well said.

it’s pretty disheartening when you can’t count on the mayor to even feign an interest in public expressions of toleration. not attending Pride gives strength and support to the people who, like Ford, hate gay people.

100 journalism points to the reporter who gets a Brian Burke quote on Ford.

happy Canada day everyone.

Ditto to the coments above.i dont live in t.o. but to think a mayor is selective in his civic duties when in the past it was just the right thing to do. welcome to partisanship canadian style.sports media taking him on now thats a joke shame on tsn.Happy Canada day still the best country in the world to live in.

I am sure he will never pick the Roughriders, that name is a bit too “brokeback” for his comfort.

I didn’t hear it, but seeing Naylor is co-hosting, I don’t think he has the spine to do anything. If Feschuk was there or especially an Arthur, things might have gotten intersting.

Heck if you want even ask some sports questions like why throw New Orleans under the bus after the NFL tried so much (and did well) in supporting that team after the hurricane. Or what part of his butt did he grab the Jags having an average of 20 thousand in attendance from.

haha. Nice, Rome.

And yeah. Having Ford pick CFL games is a stupid idea. Would love to hear Arthur chat with him though.

And here us common sense wielding citizens figured the people mad about ford not going to pride were very simply morons giving gay people a bad name.

Take into account that the majority of gay people don’t go either and think it’s crazy to expect someone to go just because.

Not going to get into how bad a name pride gives gay people (this from speaking to many), but seriously why should he have to go, should children be exposed to wanton nudity and such without choice too?

There is countless other legitimate reasons to diss ford…it’s pathetic to focus on this.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
