Roger Lajoie is now Executive Vice President of the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors. At the Fan 590 website they say he’ll still be regularly hosting on air.
Damn!
Just have to hope they’ll keep promoting him until he’s too big to do radio. It’ll be a win-win for everyone.
The summer of Rog continues to scare me.
While he is not among my favorite radio host I don’t seem to dislike him as much as a lot of people. He brings a local flavor with his knowledge of Junior hockey and IBL which I am a fan of. The Fan obviously loves him because he’ll do any time slot.
It was pretty obvious Cox was defending his boy ‘Burkie’ during the interview with the agent Anton Thun. No doubt there’s some kind of arraignment between those two slime-balls.
Argie, could you specify details of the arraignment please? Which of your two “slime-balls” is being araigned, and on what charges? Which court should we go to in order to see them?
On a slightly different note, why do any media members who don’t slag a sports executive immediately get tarred with the brush of bias? Do some of you really think that there must be bias in EVERY case? In other words, there are no honest unbiased reporters out there? Cynicism may have gone juuust a little to far in some cases – but hey, carry on and prove yourselves to be mean, bitter, know-it-all turdballs with mean, bitter lives. LeBron was right about some people, I guess!
