Is there any way we can find out whether the long segments of dead air that was on 1050 this morning got better ratings than Richards normally gets ???

I can’t believe I am saying this, but was for the first time impressed by Jamie Campbell, i listen to him and at first I was wondering “Who is this guy, he sounds logical” when I figured it was Campbell the thought of “No way” came to mind. Zaun might be smarting him up. Much better than Wilner “We have a star in every position”

I will give Wilner something, these days he’s co-hosting PTS he does seem to be actually giving an effort and trying to know what he’s talking about with the guests they have on. Huge difference compared to most of McCown hand selected guest co-hosts who seem to come right out of the golf course without caring to know about the topics coming up.

Heard the sad news on Blair show right before the third hour.

Rome, Campbell is a lot better when he’s not calling a game and just talking about the team and such. I’ve heard him in interview segments this year and in previous years. It does seem he’s picked up a bit from Zaun as his commentary is a bit more nuanced and brings up a lot of good points.

Personally i’ve always thought Campbell was much more suited to a pre/postgame role anyways.

Blair needs to cut back on the doughnuts. Caught a few minutes on Sportsnet and he was looking chubbier than usual. Looks like Wilner is off the Herbal Magic too.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
