Tired of the shitty signal strength at TSN1050, then let them know at “audiencerelations@tsn.ca”, maybe they will get the hint.

I’m not at the level of Chef Mike yet but it is nice to see the Jays season end.

It’ll be nice to get a few months without being hit over the head about how close this team is when their pitching and hitting has collectively taken huge steps back.

Just out of curiosity – could you name who is hitting you over the head with that opinion? On, say, The Fan I have heard Brady, Lang, Blair, McCown and Cox all suggest that they’re less optimistic than they were a year ago.

The American national MLB media has been far more bullish on the Jays.

Daniel, you are correct, the FAN hosts have soured lately to the Jays, but I suggest these are new “opinions”. Until September, it was all “gung ho” and “build for next year” and their usual homerism.

I suspect even Rogers is fine with this, their hosts can present the image of intellectual honesty at a time when it all gets lost in the playoff noise. AA has said there will be no name free agents, maybe some small trades, basicly nothing of substance will change.

Just think, they can all bash away on the air for a few more weeks until the Leafs become their new target, then lots of time for everyone to forget…”until next year…”

So when the Fan hosts are positive about the Jays – they’re towing the Rogers company line. And when Fan hosts are negative about the Jays – they’re … also towing the company line?

I’m pretty sure it’s just their opinions, and not a grand plan to dupe Toronto sports fans.

Hey – I was outraged when The Fan suspended Wilner for criticizing Cito last year – that reeked of censorship. But I haven’t heard anything since on the station that makes me think they’re Jays cheerleaders. As I’ve said in other posts – they’re harder on the Jays than most US national MLB media has been the last 12 months.
