Associated Press is reporting that Bobby Valentine is the new manager of the Boston Red Sox.

Bobby will provide great entertainment for the media in Boston. Still love watching the clip where he is booted from the game as a Mets Mgr. and he puts on a fake mustache/disguise in order to stay in the dugout.

What and embarrassment Lang is becoming…. In regards to the Valentine hiring this morning he stated there was more and more coming out of the Boston Clubhouse “scandal” and the Valentine was the wrong guy….then when Brady calls him on it he’s got nothing….and Brady sensing it keeps talking because he realizes he’s just burned his co-host and Lang’s still got nothing….Brady doesn’t press him on it….you can’t make stuff up with Brady, he may be a condescending suck at times but the guy know’s his sh*t…

Didn’t hear that part on Brady and Lang.

Just heard Jim declare that Bobby Valentine was going to be a complete disaster for the Red Sox as manager.

Brady quite fairly and innocently asks Lang who would have been a better choice.

Lang stammers around and says avoids question.

Brady presses him on “one name…any name”.

Lang can’t pull it off and admits he cannot come up with ONE NAME who he’d rather see manage the Red Sox.

Absolutely mindboggling. Agree with previous poster, say Brady’s a dick sometimes, talks too much about this, and jocks Detroit and a lot of that’s true, but he always is prepared, never at a loss for words, and brings opinions. I’m sick of the anti-Crosby bit myself, but it does have its amusing moments.

Lang has omly himself to blame for looking like an absolute moron. Monday, he failed miserably suggesting Wally Bueno’s coaching legacy in the CFL matches Scotty Bowman’s. There’s plenty of guys who aren’t real impressive to me in local radio, but not sure anyone brings less to the table than Lang. Not exactly a pairing that will last forever if you ask me. Was he a Millman or Kollins decision?
