Totally disagree with the post above, what a refreshing change from Blair, Smith, Jones, theRog etc.

Wow. This segment with Scott Moore is amazingly horrible radio.

I wonder who will be filling in for Bob during vacation. Blair?

Great scoop by SN to get Keenan who’s always a solid interview

Yeah, I’m liking Tim and Sid a lot. Could see it not being everyone’s cup of tea though..

Mike Keenan sounded like he was drunk!

Hazel Mae is looking older everyday!

The way Rogers operates, my guess is the Jays will post a fee way, way more than anyone else, and win, and then offer him a contract for .36 cents a year, and when it is refused they will get their posting fee back and tell all their loyal fans that they tried.

Keenan did sound a bit inebriated tonight.

And I think that Tim and Sid are doing fine – quite low key, and a pleasure to listen to.

Keenan drunk is way better than Cox sober!

I always thought that the Ham Fighters were the UFC Guy’s!

I am still withholding judgement on Tim and Sid because I haven’t heard enough yet xD What I dislike though is the constant pushing them as some edgy young hip duo, and I worry that it’s gonna end up with fratboy sophomoric humour, esp when it comes to sex and women -_-

I did like how angry Sid (I like his voice) got about the Pat Hickey thing, but I felt like the whole segment was kinda off b/c they tip toed a bit about the issue, mostly saying it’s awful, but not rly saying why… it’s not just the “tone” of it -_- Also the next segment right after was back to “hahaha” about TTC couple having sex, and I thought that was pretty… bad timing…

It reminds me of Seventeen magazine (yes I read it xD ) and how they once had this piece on date rape that was really realy good actually, but then the very next page was “DATE TRAUMARAMA” which was all the horrible embarrassing things that happened to letter writers on their dates like spilling chocolate on their pants. TRAUMA! I thought it was pretty bad editing to put that right after a piece about real trauma >_>

Yesterday just after 3:00 PM Hayes was interviewing Pat Hickey on 1050…………..meanwhile, at exactly the same time, Sid & Tim were ripping Hickey on 590……………..apparently 590 tried to get Hickey as a guest but he declined……………..I’m not sure why he would agree to be on 1050 and not 590……………maybe Hickey is affiliated in some way to the TSN Radio station in Montreal

Maybe I haven’t been listening much lately (end of the semester and all that.), but I haven’t heard many promos about the new show. The little that I have heard (of the show) has actually been rather low key and non-juvenile, so I have been pleased.

Ami, I really enjoy reading your posts but I honestly have no idea what your emoticons mean. Ugh…I’m feeling old.

    .

just listened to the Hickey interview. the aggressive stance he took suggests that there is a personal issue between Hickey and Fleury. It was disappointing that Hayes didn’t ask about that. He also failed to ask whether Hickey regrets anything he wrote. the whole interview had a very sheepish tone to it … Hayes kept mentioning how he’d rather be talking about Leafs-Habs. Not his best work, in my opinion.

    Fair enough Another Steve :3

I will make a guide to understanding Ami 🙂

(I’m actually making an effort to not use all the shortforms I tend to here because I didn’t think it’d go over that well. xD And I want to improve the reputation of TSM and his commenters, because I know some of the sports media people think his commenters can’t spell. I CAN spell, sometimes I just choose not to. xD <— that means I'm amused )
