Had an awesome night tonight in LA. Took Mrs. TSM to an evening with Paul McCartney where he played his new album in front of roughly 30 people. At the end of the show, we got a chance to meet him. Seemed nice enough. Fun stuff!
I am looking for an additional writer or 2. Must listen to sports radio and must be able to write. Email me at torontosportsmedia at gmale dot come if interested.
By the way, not sports related, but can’t tell you how pissed I am Karen Stintz. I strongly supported her campaign the last two elections.

Sean Gordon has an article in the globe,Ralph Nader has called for a ban on fighting in the NHL.BOB must be doing backflips to get him on PTS.Things must be slow in the political advocacy world or he{Nader}has corrected all the social ills of the States so now he can focus on the #1 scourge to-day hockey fights.Mr Bettman please tell him to go piss up a rope.C’mon BOB lets hear his expertise on this subject I’m sure Brunt would like to chime in also…
If you dislike brady, you should hear him on bbc radio ‘s fighting talk show, which is like around the horn. So out of place
Interesting list from the globe’s clubhouse blog on the most disliked athletes in the US even more interesting that no individual hockey player scored more than a 10% awareness score ..

I would be shocked if McCown had Nader on. He has taken such a fall from his days as a champion of consumer safety to become an incredibly bitter man. I doubt he even knows much about hockey.
When BOB can get a guest to slag hockey he will, stay tuned,if not Friday then soon enough.BOB will not be able to pass up this opportunity even as you stated Nader at this point in time has become a “bitter man”.Hope he see’s the movie Goon before that ought to get his blood boiling…
Nader has been aware of hockey for quite awhile as years ago when Ken Dryden was a young pro he worked for/with Nader……
