Since there now under contract for exclusive Podcasts with Rogers Media… anyone else think HUMBLE & FRED could be good substitute/back up hosts for PTS when Bobcat is away??? be a change of pace… or even Tim and Sid they were awesome with Jeff Blair to start the show….. as usual theres still way to much John Shannon on the program…..

Looks like Mike Hogan is getting more regular shifts again… he and Jim Tatti are now doing TSN Game Night Monday-Friday 7-11PM and Sundays 2PM-7PM…. Hogan and Tatti are a better alternative then what Sportsnet 590 The Fan offers at those times with Roger Lajoie….

@ Mike (above): I like Mike Hogan too; but also like Roger Lajoie as well.

Cox & Blair can’t be any worse than Brady’s talk about Detroit sports teams and how things were in Detroit – “when he lived there!” How many freakon’ times does he have to tell us listeners how it was for him when he lived in Detroit?

Hogan is indeed a welcome voice to hear and I have been enjoying the drive at night while listening to him. 590 made a mistake in letting him go, in my opinion.

However, 1050 doesn’t have a lot of other people worth the listen – again, in my opinion – although I sometimes listen to Hayes just to laugh at his “very serious voice.” Whenever I hear him I think of the sports announcer on the film Anchorman. Give me a stutterer any day over a salesman – myself, I ain’t looking to buy a monorail (Simpsons reference).
