is there a reason why Bob is doing phones so much lately? It’s not a pleasant listening experience.
.

also, R. Griffin is pretty damn funny:

“NOTE: Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke sat in the stands with Jays’ GM Alex Anthopoulos, as his hockey team prepared to play the Lightning in Tampa later in the day. The Jays had no one from the GTA in the lineup either.

Mike, in most instances, if Prime Time isn’t on TV up here in the 4 o’clock hour, Bob takes phone calls.

Every once in a while, Bob taking phone calls adds something to the show. It usually loosens him up too. Listen to the shows where he does calls, he’s normally funnier and more upbeat.

I really enjoyed the section where John Shannon was making fun of Bob McCown’s upcoming birthday, including visiting the nearest Denny’s for the discount. They really have good chemistry. Enjoyed Elliot Friedman co-hosting the day before too. (I’m available from Monday to Friday) It’s a good week on Prime Time Sports.
