Scott Ferguson seems like a delightful human being, but TSN should really bring in someone “more current” who can cover the team more thoroughly, in much the same way they poached Siegel from 640 to cover the Leafs. I feel bad saying this because he seems really nice, and Wilner over at 590 comes across as such a douche, but I find his commentary to be pretty shallow and lacking knowledge of 21st century baseball analysis.

i’m not sure who this guy is, but he wrote a quite decent article on the Jays for the Star.

If Cox is tired of arguing with people maybe he shouldn’t take contrary positions simply to take those positions? xD

And why can’t he just debate Bob without all the ad hominems and cutting him off or etc? -_-

It makes listening really painful. There’s enough trolls online without hearing one on the radio too.

Mike – yeah, I agree with you there. TSN pretty much ignored baseball at its launch, but with the team gaining momentum, I think they’ll have to improve their coverage quite a bit. I don’ think they can really push the Argos so much all summer again (no disrespect to the Argos).

You know, for those who care, I like Tim and Sid (Sam and Ted). They had Wilner on their show teaching them how to take listener calls, and an 80’s music quiz. I actually laughed out loud….I never laugh out loud.
