All that really matters is the play of the team of course, but on a side note, how great was it to see the Jays in classic blue again? I don’t know about you guys, but I always found the black and graphite to be slightly embarrassing as a fan. Love the new/old look.

I giggled so much when Bob compared this years Jays to the championship Jays teams… and how they had confidence, they always knew they could come back, etc etc etc

Bob, you say that EVERY YEAR XD Pretty much the exact same lines too. For the last 3 years, the Jays have at one point early in the season come back from deficits to win and Bob talks about how THIS years club is like the 92/93 Jays and they have that confidence and ability to come back!

He first said this (to my listening anyways) during Cito’s 2nd last season, when we got off to that super hot start and Scott Richmond started off 4-0 and the Jays were winning with mirrors and leading the division in May and Bob was like, This team reminds me of the 92/93 Blue Jays, they always knew no matter what they were in the game and could come back. Or something like that. xD And then the next year, when Bautista was hitting all those homeruns and the Jays were blasting homers everywhere, again… this is like the 92/93 Jays!

Bob’s enthusiasm is cute. 🙂
