I tolerated Bryan Hayes for a couple of segments this week because I heard Ray Ferraro was a guest and I like Ray’s hockey analysis. I took a chance hoping for the same today and was surprised to hear Mike Hogan filling in as host. Maybe I’m over-reacting but I couldn’t help feeling embarrassed for him. I always thought of Hogan as a second-rate talent but he’s been around a long time and it seems sad for him to fill-in for a rookie who lacks talent and legitimate sports knowledge, not to mention has a lousy Jim Rome shtick. Oh, well.

I can’t believe I’m posting yet another comment today but what the heck?

Despite his sometimes childish and silly behaviour on radio, Damien Cox can write a pretty darn good column. If you are like me and enjoy seeing the exciting high skill and talent of NHL hockey rather than the goonish, pugilistic, waste of time, violent sideshows that has occured over the past week, this link is for you.
