We heard of the recent ratings success of McCown and others but on the BBM
radio ratings site the Fan590(CJCL) was down about 30% overall, dropping from a 2.5 to 1.8 share. TSN radio was way behind, but maintained a 0.6 in the last 2 surveys. I wonder what FAN590 shows apparently fell heavily to offset Bob’s and Tim and Sid’s gains. Maybe more info will be revealed when TSM does the ratings write up.

That’s weird… I think Dowbiggin said Blair rose as well.

Perhaps those are the numbers from the previous period?

Bob: Bautista hit a home run last night….

Cox: Well, it was a high fly ball.

Someone please correct me, but isn’t that what a home run is? A fly ball that clears the fence?

    What a doink.

in theory, a screaming line drive could be a HR and not a “high fly ball.”

Alex, true, but it’s so like Cox to argue about a home run. If it leaves the park, it’s a home run!

As Cox would say……”someone’s gotta ask”.

Wow people were really going after Wilner today. o_o

Despite that I like Wilner (and find him generally very entertaining), I thought one guy had a good point when he pointed out that Wilner has a double standard for extrapolating stats from early in the season, and left Wilner scrambling to explain how they’re different.

Kamlesh – interesting, got a link? Since i found out that my demographic is represented by the listening habits of 10 people it’s hard to get excited about ratings. Also, i want both stations to succeed, so right now i’m just rooting for TSN to stay above the radio mendoza line.

glad to hear Stursburg making the rounds. Bob did a nice job with the interview on PTS, and i’m looking forward to hearing what Cybulski can do with an interesting and articulate guest.
