On the Fan590 website it touts itself as an official radio station of the London Olympics, yet today on Tim and Sid, brother Alex Seixeiro mentioned that only he and David Alter are going to London for the Fan. Too bad. It was great hearing Bob at the Vancouver games, he actually got excited for once.

And what is that London 2012 logo supposed to be? The Lisa Simpson explanation was funny, but expected more from the Brits. At least the BBC coverage won’t let us down.

The interview with John Amaechi was amazing, but had nothing to do with Blair or Shannon’s interviewing skills, he just really took the culture of sports and the way we think of it in our society to task and I thought it was really good. 🙂

Kamlesh, Bob has said on-air for awhile that he had no intention of going. Granted, he at first said that about the Vancouver Olympics but as it got closer to the event that turned into a playful tone and then they let it slip he was going when they said he had his own condo rented for him. That won’t happen this time. Bob said last week on-air to Brunt its not feasible due to the time difference. Also, the consortium is putting less money into these games AND don’t forget there is a talent exchange, so its possible to get Bell personalities on CJCL.

TSM, as part of the Olympics deal, can Bell say CHUM-AM is also an official station and will there be a crossover of talent there as well?

DSSCPU… I can answer that for you….. TSN Radio will have no part in olympic broadcasting. CJCL is the Canadian radio rights holders for those.
