Does the draft unfold as teams are currently positioned? Or will we see some movement for picks and/or players? It’s been a quiet week leading up to the draft, so the former seems likely.

At the draft, another Brian Burke rule:
“We don’t allow our draft picks to wear ball caps……”
Is there no end to this??
Won’t matter. In 2 years their draft pick will end up on another team and do well, as they usually do.
What was other peoples take on the discussion regarding the hockey rights going forward with Rogers/Bell owning leafs? I enjoyed elliot friedman involved. Mostly because of his obvious interest in cbc staying involved. I did wonder about point at the end. Talking about how bad it is to have rights exclusive to one network. Closing statement was ‘that has happened with one sport in this country and we have seen how that has gone’. I am guessing they were talking about cfl on tsn. My understanding is that it has grown since going there. Anyone know more about this?
finally..i get frustrated with cox as much as anyone..agree with what most say here. But his shots at McGuire on twitter regarding the draft were fantastic. Eg ‘wow 12 picks and 12 perfect players for teams and i thought draft was crap shoot’ .
Seems like there have been a few potshots taken at the cfl/tsn package on pts lately, by bob and shannon, maybe brunt too.
I wonder if we could see a package where rogers/bell get national rights but cbc keeps hnic. Of course, hnic may be the prize of the package and r/b want it. At least if tsn gets it, hnic can.get its theme back.
Ya, I am pretty sure they were talking about CFL, since it is the only sport that is exclusive to one network in Canada that I can think of.
