Tommy John’s name has been mentioned so much this year, you’d think it was 1977, not 2012. Boston Red Sox outfield Carl Crawford is the latest player to undergo the procedure named for the great pitcher.

Am I the only one that listens to PTS for the comedy? I actually heard Mike “the idiot”
Wilner , say that Justin Verlander is having a bad year.
“Wilner’s a genius”, Bobthetrapper, as nobody’s having a bad year as an active roster player on the Blue Jays and everyone else Derek Jeter, Justin Verlander, Prince Fielder and Yu Darvish (to name a few are garbage) will never help Toronto get better. Last time I checked Jeter is hitting the tar out of the ball, Verlander has had a no hitter there or two and Fielder is a HUGE homerun threat and would be a great addition – but Wilner’s the baseball god of Toronto it seems?
Wilner’s an ass. Working in Toronto is the only way he can get away with his crap. He could never handle real baseball markets like Detroit, Boston, or New York, those fans would eat him alive.
