Zaun was on fire at the top of the National hour on PTS, If I was Double A, I don’t know if I’d want to follow that up

September 18, 2012 7:04 pm

That’s the kind of rant from Zaun that could find him working for another team next year. The tone in his voice when he called Alex “a sabermatrican.” He really is turning into Jim Leyland.

Amazing how few games Escobar got, compared to Rocker or Roger McDowell or Sean Avery. Appraently, he got more than Delmon Young earlier this season.

I eagerly await reading Ami’s recap tomorrow.

I think it was halfway through Bob’s explanation of what penalty he wanted for Escobar that AA realized that he messed up by not sending a message here. I don’t know that AA realized how empty his explanation sounded, of hoping to be some public service announcement against homophobia, until he actually heard from someone who he respects just tear this thing down. Bob’s absolutely right, I don’t want this person representing the city of Toronto any longer. How are we supposed to wish good on Yunel Escobar when he comes up to the plate?

Greg Zaun is the most refreshing baseball voice that this baseball market has ever had. He maybe with another team next year, but he will still be right. (and probably be making may more $$$) Blue Jays Fan’s seem to have no intrest in understanding how bad this organization is and how far away they are from contending. Wake up Toronto and face reallity! and exactlly what is Ami’s baseball background? and that is not intended to be a shot at Ami, but who the hell are you listnng to?

Avery got 5 or 6 games out of an 82 game season? so equal to about 10 or 12 baseball games, and Avery’s wasn’t anywhere near this.

They should trade him to Boston, he’d fit right into the dysfunction.
