A few weeks ago, Bob was saying there was some tension between Keith Pelley and Paul Beeston and was wondering about Beeston’s contract. I always assumed that it was Rogers that didn’t want to spend the money before this off season, but I’m wondering, if the conflict between Pelley and Beeston were true, was it actually Pelley that wanted the Jays to spend the money last off season but Beeston refused because AA didn’t think the time was right, with the right trade, free agents or contracts (back loaded, which he can deal before they become to expensive) not out there prior to this month.

An excellent show by Cybulski today, with Mackowycz and Arthur. They’re going hard with the CFL on location already from Rogers centre. Apparently, Cybulski is also doing hosting the Fan Zone on Saturday at the convention centre. Also nice chat between Cybulski and Macko on UFC 154 and the future of GSP and Silva. Both knowledgeable, not faking it.

Will listen to PTS later, expect Bob to be a grump about the Grey Cup. Not because TSN has rights to the CFL, oh no, of course not. On Friday, Bob was talking about some curling tournament that Sportsnet is carrying, he said he always liked curling. But when TSN broadcast the Brier he said he couldn’t get into it. What a coincidence. Still, looking forward to his chat with Pelley, that is where he’s at his best, maybe with no equal.

Loved Arthur taking cybulski on over both the snider story and stadium economics.

That’s great that people love the CFL, but some of us who consider it a minor league are happy that there’s competition and hence a station that will talk about other sports.

Personally, I don’t care about the reason for McCown’s stance toward the CFL – I am just glad that he is ignoring it.

It seems bob has curlers on the show from time to time. Is it more because they are FOB and not what they.do?
